Question - {John, I want to know if the haircoat need to be applied after shampoo and conditioner or directly after washing? }

<> Hair should be cleaned before treatment of HairCoat.

In a word, if there are oil, dirty things on the surface (cuticle) of hair, the ions of our haircoats can not stick directly & tightly to the hair, but the oil and dirt.

	If we apply a HairCoat, the cations the HairCoat will make ionic bonding (coating) layer with the anions of each of hair strand. In case there are not (anions of) dirt, dust,hair gum, dead cuticle, shampoo residue, the ionic bonding (coating) will be made well, strongly, firmly onto each hair strand .

	<> Washing can be done well in Soft Water ( pH #8, higer than a pH of 7.5. <> Washing (with Shampoo ) will be done well in Soft Water. <> Washing can not be done well in Hard Water of which the pH level is lower than 7. <> Our HairCoats do not work well in Hard Water.

<> SHAMPOO is made with 50% water, 30% surfactant.

The surfactant reduces the surface shrinking force of water, and it melts well in both oil and water. It is a reason to go well with oil and water as well as water, and remove oily dirt, gum coming from hair.

Meanwhile, problem is, shampoo factories make shampoo with skin protectants, hair protectants just like condtioner for hair.
Most of shampoos contain silicone based protectants

As well, most of conditioners contain silicon hair protectants.

At higher than 50℃ the protectants can be washed off.

<> <> Please be informed that conditioner is a kind of oil.

CONDTIONERS give oil (protectants), silkiness, softness to the surface of hair.
In a word, when (or after) wash hair, please do not use condtioner before applying HairCoat to the hair.

Our haircoats are kinds of general hair condtioners just like general hair conditioners in markets, hair shops, and your home.
But, our haircoats last after dozens of washes. Other (general) conditioners do not last after one, or a few times of washes.

Oil, specially silicone oil hinders the haircoat. The ions of haircoat will get on silicone oil coated around the hair strand if you wash or treat hair with silicone based shampoo (or conditioners).

1. Please see our last email and http://www.haircoat.com/use.htm many times.

2. Wash hair with water and shampoo, if possible, silicone-free shampoo,

3. and wash 1 times, 2 times, or more times ( more times means more clean) the washed hair with pure water only ( without shamoo).
This way, you can remove silicone oil and shamppo residue, and remaining dirty things from the hair.

4. (and dry the hair, and) apply our HairCoat. drying hair before applying the HairCoat makes better effect (result).

5. If you want to apply a (general) hair coindtioner if you have any reason(?), now you can use the hair conditioner. I mean to say HAIR CONDTIONER MUST NOT BE USED BEFORE HAIRCOAT APPLICATION.
